Room clean, staff very friendly. Unfortunately lots of noise from other rooms and rattling shutters, had very little sleep. Breakfast was great value for money, good choices every day. Location is good, about 10 mins walk to the main beech. Mino bar opposite is good for a quick snack or a beer.

First room we were offered had no window and was an internal room. Looked into an internal rain/light shaft a lot of Spanish buildings have. Then were offered 204. This had a small balcony and 2 beds pushed together. Much nicer so we took this one. Room was of good size and beds ( for my personal preference) were ok. Free safe in room operated by room key card. Good size bathroom but position of shower head and glass shower screen meant frequently flooded the floor. No tea and coffee facilities in the room but there was a small fridge. Large flat screen TV but no UK or English channels at all but free WiFi was good so no problems keeping in touch. Breakfast was ok. Bread and bread rolls. Boiled eggs, beans and small sausage type of things. Cheeses, ham, and sliced tomatoes. Toaster and coffee machine, also cake and pastries, The way the hotel is configured ( tiled floors and central stair well ) meant noise travelled so you could hear people moving about even when they were not being very noisy. Hotel was clean as were the rooms, bedding and towels. Great bar across the road (MINO) that does cheep drinks and snacks. Was ok for the price we paid.

The best thing about hotel Madrid was the staff, especially the housekeeper. Always a smile and a few words. The room was dark and dull, small balcony and small bathroom. The pictures did look totally different on their website so we’re disappointed. Location is ok.

Very clean and efficient hotel in town within a few minutes walk from the beach
Comfortable room with small balcony , air con , plenty of cupboard space

Owners happy to provide additional bedding etc if required

Excellent breakfast , good selection

Nice relaxed small clean hotel close to shops , marina , beach etc

We were given a choice of two rooms, neither of which you could swing a cat. The room was clean but dated, the smallest double bed I have come across. There was frequent noise coming from the room next door which sounded like a couple copulating wildly complete with bedhead banging off the wall. this happened frequently through the evening and again in the middle of the night. Thus if you want a good night's sleep this hotel is not for you. We had breakfast next morning which consisted of a cup of coffee, a tostada with jam and a glass of orange juice. My wife asked for a second cup of coffee which was later added to the bill.
At checkout we were informed that we had to pay 10 euros for having our dogs with us. Not a problem but charges should be known when you book not when you are checking out.
Needless to say not a good experience and one never to be repeated. the only thing going for this establishment is that it is close to the beach.
